Academy

The On Goal Academy is a soccer club focused on developing the Total Player by encouraging every child to Play with Skill™, Play with Passion™, Play Together™, Play with Honor™ and Play with Purpose™.

At On Goal, we believe that individual skill development is the foundation for soccer excellence. Our professional training staff encourages each player to develop character qualities that go beyond competition through weekly Team Talks™ based on Christian principles. Through the On Goal Academy we strive to encourage each player; support families through reasonable team fees and time commitment; create a fun, organized and challenging environment to train and play and to bring the best out of every player.

The On Goal Academy is backed by the On Goal Guarantee that your child will have a great experience or we will refund your program fee.

FAQ
Where do the Academy players compete? To supplement the excellent training, Academy players compete in the On Goal Academy League, the Elite Players League, in friendly matches against local clubs as well as in a limited number of tournaments.

How old do players have to be to be a part of the Academy? To participate in the Academy you must have been born after 7/31/2004.

Are there tryouts for the Academy? For our U5-U11 age groups players are grouped by age/gender into player pools and there are no tryouts. The number of players may be limited in order to maintain the best player pool size for quality training and individual development. Teams are formed at U12 and in order to allow everyone a place to play, tryouts are conducted.

What is the training and playing schedule? U5 and U6 players will train once each week for one hour. Players U7 and older will train twice each week for 75 to 90 minutes depending on the age group. All On Goal Academy League matches will be on Saturday’s and we will try to avoid Sunday play if possible for every age group. Training and match schedules will be completed at least one week prior to the start of the season.

Online registration for the On Goal Academy is available at My On Goal. For additional information contact On Goal at 513.561.4625 or academy@ongoal.org.
